Sure, it'd be better if he showed up, but he has a life, too, and it's impossible for him to be held responsible for someone's suicide. I'm sure he's having a hard time dealing with that, and i hope people support him rather than condemn. He had no way of knowing what would happen. I feel sorry for the family, of course, but I do hope the teacher’s not blamed at all. His reaction seems to have been a direct result of that change in routine. While I do not think any blame should be placed, as we cannot prevent all things that could happen, I think it should serve as a reminder that autistic reactions do not necessarily go away entirely, although they can be controlled over time.
